If you’re looking to get started, and gain full control of your hosting a VPS is the ideal way to start. A VPS works in a similar to standard web hosting where you share physical hardware resources but you have full root level access (SSH for linux & remote desktop for windows) to the setup.
If your site is resource hungry (using a lot of CPU or diskspace) then using one of our own dedicated pieces of hardware is the best choice. All our servers are provided with full lights out allowing you to control the server even if you’ve lost internet contact with it.
